Looking at his stats. I like that he came up big in their toughest game of the year against Cinco Ranch. Kid averaged 11 yards a pop. 25 carries that game, you do the math!

When I went over to Redondo Beach to see the Elite 11 QB workouts, Rivals had a crew there.
I asked them about Stanton and why he wasn't rated higher. They kind of sneered and said something like "remember Harrison Beck?". There always seem to be some K-State grads that play a big role in talent evaluation. I have never felt they were especially fond of giving Husker commits much benefit of the doubt.
Still think Stanton is underrated by all the sites. His only weakness coming into the season was his long passing game, and he came into his own their this season.

NFL Super Bowl winning QB Trent Dilfer who happens to be one of the smartest football minds on the planet.... Who RAVED about Stanton.
OR
Some Internet website geeks that get paid probably somewhere around minimum wage to go watch some camps....
Wow, that is a tough one. For one thing there O Rivals brainiacs, the ONLY thing Harrison Beck had going for him was an alleged cannon for an arm, nothing upstairs.... Stanton has good accuracy, football IQ, toughness and MOXY... which are the most important attributes for a QB.

When it comes to Stanton, Rivals is doing their best General Custer impression. They are determined to not acknowledge what a potential talent he is. It's pretty funny, really.

Unbelievable huh? This package is what scares any RB in not committing to us at this stage! That list minus Adam Taylor convinced Aaron Greene to get the steppin' and transferred.
Any RB (Newby or whoever) has to be confident of his skills to want to come in here to challenge and compete. Its going to be fierce and highly competitive next year in Nebrsaka's back field that much can be easily predictable.Great observation man!
