  • We had the worst case scenario go down (w/o a loss that is.) Ole Miss might have pulled it off if they didn't set LSU up with excellent field position late in the game with an unrealistic field goal attempt and an unfortunate punt return for a score just prior to that.

  • I would like to point out that there are 7 2-loss teams ahead of us, we have the third hardest schedule in the country, and the only 2 ahead of us (Kentucky and Arizona) are not one of them.

  • I'm not concerned about what these writers think about where our huskers stand. We know that our huskers are surging, getting better every game. Should we be ranked at 17? Don't know and really don't care at this time of the season. Let's beat Iowa, win the B1G championship game and win in the Rose Bowl. One game at a time. After we accomplish these three items we will be able to wake up some of these AP writers and let them know that the huskers just finished a
    12-2 season and need to be somewhere in the top 10. Until we do these things no one will listed to us.

    I think that Ohio St. loss sticks out in voter's minds. Plus, it's been a down year for the B1G. Oregon St. is the only team I would feel comfortable arguing should be behind us.
