I am now officially out to kill the theory that Nebraskans support Nebraska football because there are no pro teams in the state. THIS IS FALSE. We support ALL Husker sports. Yes football is tops, but we support other sports like basketball and baseball also. Volleyball? Yeah who sells out volleyball games? NEBRASKA. I am tired of hearing "Nebraskans support Nebraska football because there are no pro teams in the state." We are Huskers PERIOD. Thanks, and I'm sorry for taking up your 30 seconds.

Not only do we sell out in Volleyball, but we have one of the nicest baseball facilities in the country that can pack in 8,500+ comfortably. Not many college baseball stadiums have that luxury.
We just invested $100 Billion dollars in a new Basketball Arena that is as good as you'll find in college hoops.
Our wrestling team is usually nationally ranked amongst the Top 15 and competes in one of the best wrestling conferences in the country. And oh by the way, former Husker Jordan Burroughs just won a Gold Medal in the Summer Olympic Games in freestyle wrestling.
Just football? They just don't know about the magic in Rifleman's arm just yet.
