I say we keep recruiting him anyway all the way through next February! If we can continue to show him how much better off he'll be in a program that will actually play for a championship versus lil ol Illinois, I still think we can get him here! And...I don't give a hoot about any big ten coaches word against recruiting commits in conference. If they haven't signed a loi, they are fair game!
We need to start a BAILEY, SWITCH YOUR COMMITMENT TO NEBRASKA website!!!

I agree... though i'm not sure we ever had a shot with him. I'd start with Zaire. I know you and I both feel the same way about Alviti and i would agree if i thought we had ever really had a chance.

May well be. He "shocked" just about everyone. I ask questions that sometimes ruffle feathers.
Nebraska will have to do what they've always done. Recruit the nation. They are still building their brand in the B1G. They'll have to earn the right out recruit MI, OSU, MSU and WI.

No, Illinois went to the Rose Bowl five seasons ago, and only then as the second place team because the Big 10 champs were in the NC game.
They were all of 9-3 on the season and lost the RB to finish 9-4. Sound familiar?
