he needs to learn how to teach his kids how to tackle again... his schemes are fine. Whatever he's doing to teach tackling and leverage is not.

No, I am going to go against popular opinion, but Bo is a great defensive mind. He is not a great manager of all things on a football team at this point and its showing.
You make his responsibilities D coaching only and give him talented kids and he will win.

Yes Bo is a great defensive minded coach. Hopefully he see's we don't have the talent to do his scheme 100% and therefore he simplifies and adds more aggressiveness.

I agree. We just do not have the elite talent to execute and make big time plays. How that is possible in year 5 of Pelini is beyond me.

So why keep him? He had his chance to bring in his players and failed spectacularly on D last night.
I believe this is the beginning of the end for Bo. Maybe he hangs on for a season or two but I feel it is only a matter of time.

Did Bo do a press conf after the game? I am kind of curious if he actually said anything different then what he normal says after a loss

A great defensive mind should be a great manager as well. Be able to read recruits, know where to plug players, draw up schemes to fit players rather than forcing playing to play his scheme, etc..
A lot of defensive coaches will be great if you give them talented kids, the greats are ones that become head coaches and continue to be great when you control every aspect. Like Nick Saban, hes great. Pelini, hes average.
