Zaire now has a "team to beat"

Dayton (Ohio) Alter 2013 four-star QB Malik Zaire visited both Ohio State and Indiana over the weekend. He talks about both trips and his latest offer from Pitt.

  • No surprise here. The kid is from Ohio. Makes sense to me. But things will change once he makes visits to warm weather schools. In no time, Florida or Texas will be his team to beat. Just hope he's impressed when he visits Nebraska.

  • Hopefully he will be a spring game visitor for NU... thats what he needs to see. Also, we should televise the spring game. They are worried about attendance if they do taht, but I think if you told the Husker afithful it was televised and that we want to be sure to show it sold out... guess what... it would probably be MORE likely to sell out because it is on TV and we don't want people to see the stadium anything other than full... it's a pride thing. If we know nobody will see it, it's ok to miss the game and have a few empty seats, right? Put it on TV for recruiting... we need more exposure for Lincoln until we start winning big games again and earning exposure that way.

  • This is a very important season ahead for Husker OC Tim Beck to show that his system can be a very good one for QB development. Competition is fierce.
