Poor defense and costly mistakes did Nebraska Does not the outcome sound like same thing in Football all last season and especially against NW,,,,OMG what similarities,,,,,just a thought!

Exactly... I've now seen his coaching literally lose us at least 4 games this season... When you are more athletic than a team you don't pack in the paint and let them do what they do best (shoot threes) you force them to get past half court against superior athletes without turning the ball over and then force them to beat you man to man be extending your defense and challenging them. I used to be a Doc supporter, but he has to go now, he is now stubborn and unwilling to change and that won't win games.

Would be interesting to me to see what other teams schemes have been against NW. Maybe there was a reason for our defensive strategy.. they are an under performing team. I think adjustments may have been needed however. And 8 other teams had given us a roadmap for a victory. Alot of things tonight didn't go our way also.
On the road, if they came out shooting maybe 40% instead of 50+% from 3 point land we are in this game or winning at the end.
As I think about it it's really a tough game to diagnose.
Less unforced To's early, them not being quite so hot from 3 point land, better adjustments. A lot could have been done a lot different, very easily.

Like the Husker fan sitting behind me yelled at the Nebraska-Iowa men's basketball game in Iowa City when Doc failed to draw up a play when the Huskers had the ball and 6 seconds on the shot clock-"Doc, you're fired!"

That was just a bizarre game. It was like Nebraska went into the locker room and realized, 'we're way more athletic than these guys.' Problem is they'd already spotted them 15 points. Can't do that on the road and expect to win.

should have realized that during film study or warm ups... All on the coaches. Doc's coaching continues to deteriorate.
