If Beck is to improve the offensive play this year, that everyone is expecting, both Ben and Kyler should get all conference honors...that would really help NU's case to get a couple of outstanding TE's.

I was a bit disappointed in how few catches our tight ends had this past season. I think that will change next fall. But getting a few athletic tight ends in our next recruiting class is of the utmost importance.

@ iowa husker: Why do you think that will change? I'm curious because so many times we're hearing about how much NU's coup of talented & young recievers need to get the ball. With NU relying heavily on the run game as well, I'm thinking that in Beck's offense the tight end could very well be an after thought. I can't wait until Beck can go into a game with his whole play book at his disposal.

Maybe, but a good TE will always be the QBs safety valve, especially against the zone. There really should a conscious effort to get Cotton and Reed the ball a lot more next year, we need to make an impression on some of these big name guys.
