Still scratching my head over Abdullah attempting to field a punt in a 30 mile an hour wind. You'd think the special teams coach would have told him to just get out of the way and not try to catch that punt. Don't even know why we had anyone back there in the first place. It's just not worth muffing a punt and sure enough, he muffed it. Bad coaching in my opinion.

Nice game from Brett Maher today also. Ave. 43.2 yds on 6 punts and placed Iowa deep at the 4 yd line on one boot. 2 big fg's. [26 and 52] after a so so start has done a good job for NU.

We will need a huge effort from DT's against Wisconsin's big line. They have been going to more ground and pound behind jumbo o-line formations. Stave will probably be back also. The little red cheese heads could be tough. Glad we have the experience of the tough schedule that we have played. Tougher schedule, i'd say, than any other B1G school. The hottest fire makes the strongest steel!! Go Big Red!!

Still wondering why we didn't go for two instead of kicking the extra point when Burkhead scored the go ahead touchdown. Being up 13-7 put us in a spot where a touchdown and an extra point beats us but if we had gone for two we go up 14-7 and the best Iowa could do was tie us with a touchdown and an extra point. I think Pelini should have noticed this and gone for two. Can't make these type of coaching errors going forward.
