Nebrasketball adds third commit

Nebraska basketball landed its third commitment for the 2013 Class as Tai Webster of Auckland, New Zealand. Multiple sources close to the program have confirmed Webster’s commitment.

The 6-foot-3 point guard joins guards Nick Fuller and Nathan Hawkins as other members of the first full class under new head coach Tim Miles.

This summer Webster made New Zealand’s national team as a reserve. He eventually worked his way into the rotation, including two games in Olympic qualifying play, where Webster averaged 13.5. The point guard went for 21 points against Angola in New Zealand’s lone win during qualifying play.

Nebraska assistant Chris Harriman was the primary recruiter for Webster. The Huskers have two more open scholarships for the 2013 class.

huge addition for this class... Tai also seems to have a good relationship with Agau... hopefully he will be talking to Akoy about the opportunity to start something special at Nebraska.

Wow. From what I've read about Tai, NU got themselves a very, very good recruit. It's hard to know how to react to such encouraging news on a consistent basis from the MBB team.

Vince Marrow has no shortage of charisma from what I've heard about his few interactions with recruits.

Oh I agree, but Stoops has charisma.

You can put Webster in at 2and Biggs at 1 if he is that good you cant leave him off and Biggs soundz pretty good?

this is exactly how I feel. Just have to make it though this upcoming season which will be awful. But 2013 and on look very promising!
