The last paragraph is spot on I think....with zero inside scoring theats it is disheartening. They simply don't have the tools to get it done without bigs. I don't think Doc is the problem.

Doc himself isn't the problem....I think his recruiting is. I know getting kids to Nebraska for BBALL is difficult, but he can't rely on transfers and JC players. I think one of the real problems is the level of basketball in high school in this state is not at the level it was when we were getting the great players out of Omaha. Even when there is a decent in-state player(Gesell), we can't land him. Sorry Doc, Ubel is merely a decent rebounder and banger down low. He has no ability to create and score. Also, Mike Fox at the 4 is terrible. Sorry to say, but we need to move on from this six year frustration

I know a lot of this isnt Docs fault. I just think its time for change. Diaz not playing hurts our chances to just be competitive let alone win

I want to repeat that quote again..."I don't think Doc is the problem." Well, we can blame it on a lot of things - the weather, air, bugs, sand, trees, grass, tofu, etc. We shouldn't blame it on Doc. He's a good guy. He just needs another 10-15 years IMO. The sky's the limit.
